Experts Participate in the Annual Conference of the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology

Washington, D.C. – Experts for the American Institutes for Research will be giving presentations at the 23rd Annual Conference of the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology (SIOP) taking place April 10-12, 2008 at the San Francisco, Calif., Hilton Hotel.

Presentations by AIR staff include a discussion of TeamSTEPPS (Team Strategies and Tools to Enhance Patient Safety), an award-winning curriculum developed by AIR to improve patient safety and reduce medical errors. The project was awarded the 2007 M. Scott Myers Award for Applied Research in the Workplace by SIOP. Other AIR presentations include: “Personnel Selection for High-Risk Occupations: Our Current State,” and “Personality in the Workplace: Advances in Measurement and Assessment.”
