One of the complications of working in developing countries is the potential for unanticipated outbreaks of conflict during project implementation. This roundtable held on June 1, 2023, brought together a panel of experts, each of whom has faced this situation.

Drawing on their experience from three different projects in East Africa and Myanmar, three experts spoke about how their teams adapted research and data collection using technology-supported, localized approaches and what they’ve learned.
