What About You? Strategies for Supporting Educator Resilience and Trauma-Informed Self-Care

This first webinar in a three-part series, Teaching and Leading With Trauma-Informed Care, sponsored by the Center on Great Teachers and Leaders (GTL Center), the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards, and the National Education Association, explores how educators can better prepare themselves to face these challenges by using trauma-informed self-care and resilience-building strategies. Participants had an opportunity to learn directly from two teacher leaders and a licensed mental health clinician.

About the Series

Starting in April 2020, the Center on Great Teachers and Leaders (GTL Center) hosted a three-part webinar series, Teaching and Leading With Trauma-Informed Care, focused on the developing the use of evidence-based trauma-informed practices. The webinar series highlighted strategies specific to fostering resilience and well-being for educators, for educators as they work with their students, and for school leaders as they work to build trust and well-being in their school communities.
