What About Your Students? Supporting Student Well-Being and Resilience with Trauma-Informed Care
This second webinar in a three-part series, Teaching and Leading With Trauma-Informed Care, sponsored by the Center on Great Teachers and Leaders (GTL Center), the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards, and the National Education Association, offers educators concrete strategies for supporting their students’ well-being during distance learning during COVID-19 by using trauma-informed self-care and resilience-building strategies. Participants heard from an expert practitioner and experts in supporting school mental health.

Starting in April 2020, the Center on Great Teachers and Leaders (GTL Center) hosted a three-part webinar series, Teaching and Leading With Trauma-Informed Care, focused on the developing the use of evidence-based trauma-informed practices. The webinar series highlighted strategies specific to fostering resilience and well-being for educators, for educators as they work with their students, and for school leaders as they work to build trust and well-being in their school communities.
