Blanchie Kelley
Blanchie Kelley retired in 2024 as Chief of Staff at AIR and assistant secretary to the Board of Directors, where she served as liaison between the Board and executive leadership and supported both in the fulfillment of their duties and responsibilities. She has also worked as a research assistant on various AIR projects conducted for the U.S. Department of Education that encompassed interviewing students, parents, teachers, and principals in participating schools to collect critical incidents, and participating in project workshops.
Prior to AIR, Kelley worked at Stanford University and Stanford Linear Accelerator Center where she honed her business skills by pursuing educational opportunities and seeking out mentors. She is a past member of the National Association of Corporate Directors and Society of Corporate Secretaries and Governance Professionals.
Kelley’s passion centers on sharing what she has learned by being the keynote speaker at various administrative forums, serving as a mentor and role model in the field of managerial responsibilities and business savvy, and dispensing the knowledge and insight gained by working side-by-side with two former and current AIR CEOs.
Blanchie Kelley joined AIR in 1977, carving her own path from administrative work, to research, to serving as Chief of Staff and assistant secretary to the Board of Directors. Her remarkable dedication, kindness, and expertise have not only shaped those around her but also have left an enduring legacy at AIR. Blanchie, we wish you nothing but joy in your next adventure.
