Danielle Riser
Danielle Riser is a senior researcher in the early childhood practice area of AIR. In this role, she leads and supports quantitative and mixed-methods data collection, analyses, and reporting on early childhood development, child care, and early intervention/special education projects. She also serves as project director and task lead on multiple evaluation projects.
Before joining AIR, Riser served 4 years as a graduate research assistant at the Center for Research in Education and Social Policy at the University of Delaware. There, she supported the design, data collection, analysis, and reporting of quantitative and qualitative data for state and federally-funded evaluation projects. While at the university, she also led the design and execution of a federally funded mixed-methods study that explored the child care decisions of families of young children with disabilities. Prior to attaining her graduate degree, Riser worked for almost 10 years in the early childhood field in child care and Part C early intervention.
