Erin Cyman

Erin Cyman is a senior technical assistance (TA) consultant in the Workforce Program Area of AIR's Human Services Division. She is a skilled facilitator, trainer, and coach with experience in implementing and coaching apprenticeship expansion efforts. Her primary responsibilities include supporting AIR’s apprenticeship TA contracts, which assist all 50 states and U.S. territories in their expansion of registered apprenticeship. She leads coaching TA activities, including managing 13 TA coaches, designing and coordinating site visits, facilitating and managing cohort calls, and designing webinars and other TA.  

Cyman has also served as a TA coach, support, and subject matter expert to Safal Partners and their TA to the Closing the Skills Gap grantees, providing direct coaching to five grantees. She has extensive experience in workforce development, with special emphasis on employer engagement, building and supporting sector strategies, and apprenticeship.

Cyman also serves as lead for construction and healthcare in the support of SA WORX and their Talent Pipeline Management implementation. Additionally, she serves as a practitioner, mentor, and fellow in partnership with the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation’s Talent Pipeline Management initiative.  

Previously, Cyman served as a department specialist with the State of Michigan Workforce Development Agency for 12 years.
