Nancy Velasco

Senior TA Consultant

Nancy Velasco is a senior technical assistance consultant and a project manager at AIR, providing technical and financial support for public sector organizations in the federal, state, and local levels. Velasco currently manages AIR’s Department of Housing and Urban Development portfolio. As the project manager, she has managed the development of various tools and products, such as self-paced e-learning modules, fact sheets, webinars, webcasts, videos, presentations, and marketing material.

Velasco was previously the project director for a subcontract award provided by the National Safe Place Network to help operate the Runaway and Homeless Youth Training and Technical Assistance Center (RHYTTAC), the training and technical assistance provider for all federally funded runaway and homeless youth (RHY) grantees. As project director,  Velasco oversaw the training and technical assistance provided to RHY Program grantees including a Trauma Informed Care e-learning module, evidence-based issue briefs and practice guides, and a Trauma-informed care cohort.
