Nara Nayar
Nara Nayar joined the Midwest Comprehensive Center at AIR as a technical assistance consultant in 2012. Her work with the MWCC has included providing content expertise and support for the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction’s academic and career planning initiative and American Indian studies work. She also works on other AIR projects across the technical assistance and evaluation portfolios.
Prior to her tenure at AIR, Nayar worked in education research, evaluation, and policy at the state and local levels for fifteen years. Her work included managing the process to develop California’s Model Career and Technical Standards and Framework, providing support to the California Department of Education for needs assessment and strategic planning processes, and facilitating a key working group for the Illinois P-20 Council.
