Paul J. Giguere
Paul Giguere is a senior director of the Technology Solutions group at AIR. Responsibilities include providing leadership and guidance in the application of learning technologies to distance learning, digital learning, e-learning, training, technical assistance, adult learning, and professional development. Dr. Giguere oversees the Learning Technologies Team, which develops and implements distance learning, digital learning, adult learning best practices, and multimedia for a wide variety of clients.
Over the past 30 years, Dr. Giguere has helped advance the adoption and implementation of distance learning initiatives in many agencies and organizations at the local, state, national, and international levels. He was formerly senior director for academic initiatives and an assistant professor at the Friedman School of Nutrition Science and Policy at Tufts University where he directed the Office of Academic Initiatives. Dr. Giguere was also associate director of communications for a USAID Collaborative Research Support Program project for Asia and Africa and worked on development efforts in India and Mexico.
Prior to Tufts University, Dr. Giguere was a senior technology scientist for Education Development Center, Inc. where he was responsible for investigating and implementing distance learning systems, theories, and practices for the delivery of training and professional development.
