Raquel Sanchez
Raquel Sanchez is a senior researcher in Learning Supports at AIR with over eighteen years of experience conducting implementation research within experimental, quasi-experimental, and developmental evaluations of educational interventions related to language and literacy development. Her primary responsibilities include project leadership from research design, through data collection, analysis, and reporting.
Dr. Sanchez is a resident expert on qualitative methods and educational linguistics. She has extensive experience in educational practice related to multilingual learners, English Language Development (ELD), Dual Language Education, and instructional coaching.
Previously, she was an ELD/Dual language teacher (Spanish) in California public schools. She maintains valid teaching and administrative credentials in the state of California.Ph.D., Educational Linguistics, Stanford University; M.A., Education (TESOL), California State University, Los Angeles
