AIR Experts Schneider and Tanenbaum to Present at U.S. News STEM Solutions National Leadership Conference

Washington, D.C. — American Institutes for Research (AIR) experts Mark Schneider and Courtney Tanenbaum will participate in the STEM Solutions National Leadership Conference, hosted by U.S. News & World Report, in Baltimore May 18-20.

The conference, at the Hilton Baltimore Inner Harbor, brings together national leaders and experts looking to increase the participation of women, minorities, veterans and underserved populations in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) fields and careers. AIR is one of more than 30 conference cosponsors.

Tanenbaum is moderating a panel on May 18 in the Holiday 2 room—“Getting More Girls Into the Game”—on ways to get more girls to come to and stick with science and math.

Schneider will be part of a panel discussion May 19 in the Holiday 1 room—“Measuring & Communicating the Value of College: Is All College Worth It? How Does STEM Stack Up?”—on the return on investment of majoring in STEM fields in college.
