AIR Researchers Present at Annual Conference of the Society for Research on Educational Effectiveness
Washington, D.C. – Experts from AIR will have a significant presence at the annual conference of the Society for Research on Educational Effectiveness (SREE), being held March 4-6, 2010 at the Fairmont Hotel in Washington, D.C.
The mission of SREE is to “advance and disseminate research on the causal effects of education interventions, practices, programs, and policies.” The 2010 conference focuses on linking research to practice by examining recent federal and state accountability mandates; focusing on research-driven instructional models that provide the greatest benefit to students; and encouraging partnerships between researchers and local and state education agencies that directly promote high-quality scientifically valid research and technical assistance.
