American Institutes for Research Collaborates with Microsoft and AssistX Education to Support Secure K-12 Statewide Testing for Windows 8 Devices
Washington, D.C. – The American Institutes for Research (AIR) is teaming up with Microsoft and AssistX Education, LLC to bring students across the United States the most secure online assessment environment for Windows 8 devices.
AIR Secure Browser 7.2, bundled with AssistX’s TestPolicy™ for AIR, creates a standardized testing environment for Windows 8 that provides schools with a simple way to achieve testing compliance in preparation for assessments in Spring of 2015. Schools need only to install the latest release of the AIR secure browser bundle to experience the benefits. No additional deployment or configuration is necessary.

AIR Secure Browser 7.2 also supports ClassPolicy™, an optional add-on available from AssistX for those who want an enhanced, teacher-led online learning as well as testing experience in a 1-to-1 environment. TestPolicy™ for AIR and ClassPolicy™ are exclusively for Windows.
