American Institutes for Research Experts to Present at the Annual Society for Research on Educational Effectiveness Conference

Washington, D.C. – Experts from the American Institutes for Research (AIR) will have a significant presence at the at the annual conference of the Society for Research on Educational Effectiveness (SREE), being held March 3rd to March 5th at the Fairmont Hotel in Washington, DC.

AIR will also be sponsoring a reception on March 4, 2011, from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM at the hotel’s ballroom level.

The theme of the spring 2011 conference is Building an Education Science: Investigating Mechanisms and will focus on the need for evidence-based science and process that advance the understanding of the effectiveness of educational practices and policies. The mission of SREE is to “advance and disseminate research on the causal effects of education interventions, practices, programs, and policies.”
