American Institutes for Research Sends Research Experts to SREE’s Fall Conference
Washington, D.C. – Experts from the American Institutes for Research (AIR) will discuss a variety of topics, including research and low performing schools, at the Society for Research on Education Effectiveness’ (SREE) Fall Conference September 6-8, 2012, in Washington, D.C. This year’s conference theme is Effective Partnerships: Linking Practice and Research.
The conference will discuss challenges that policymakers, practitioners, and researchers face when communicating and coordinating with each other, and also address ways these groups can work together to advance effective education practices. Presentations will focus on several areas, including research methods; moving to scale; alliance for progress; data driven policy, and advances in cognitive science. AIR is also co-sponsoring the conference’s career forum.
