American Institutes for Research Staff to Participate in SREE’s Fall Conference
Washington, D.C. – Staff from the American Institutes for Research (AIR) will participate in the Society for Research on Education Effectiveness’ (SREE) Fall Conference, to be held September 8-10, 2011, in Washington, D.C. The theme for this year’s research conference is Building an Education Science: Improving Mathematics and Science Education for All Students.
The conference will address promising new directions in mathematics and science research that help all types of learners, including those at-risk for underachievement, raise their proficiency in these subjects. Paper presentations will include insights on evidence-based curricula, professional development, instructional practices, and teaching and learning from kindergarten through high school.
