The purpose of this project is to facilitate enrollment in Medicaid/CHIP of youth discharged from the Juvenile Justice Administration in Kansas and to evaluate the project on behalf of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services.
The Elementary and Middle Schools Technical Assistance Center (EMSTAC) was a five year contract between the American Institutes for Research (AIR) and the U.S. Department of Education, Office of Special Education Programs (OSEP). It was funded from 1997-2001.
AIR conducted a series of surveys to assess the public’s knowledge, attitudes and behavior with respect to seasonal and pandemic influenza in 2007. We are continuing the series, focusing on H1N1 high-risk populations in 2009 and 2010.
