AIR Researchers to Present at Biannual Society for Research on Education Effectiveness (SREE) Conference

Washington, D.C. – Researchers from the American Institutes for Research (AIR) will give presentations on a broad range of education research topics during the Society for Research on Education Effectiveness (SREE) conference March 4-7, 2015 in Washington, D.C.

The conference theme, Learning Curves: Creating and Sustaining Gains from Early Childhood through Adulthood, explores the role of research in understanding and supporting learning and growth from preschool through college and beyond.

AIR researchers will explore a variety of topics, including: testing and the achievement gap; student achievement among immigrant populations; professional development and children’s literacy; and lessons learned from educational initiatives in Bangladesh and Zambia. In addition to presentations by staff, AIR is sponsoring sessions on careers outside of academe and women in quantitative methodology.
