P3 Africa: Opportunities and Resources
AIR is proud to partner with preeminent institutions and research collaboratives across the African continent to prepare the next generation of behavioral and social science researchers to contribute to meaningful social progress.
As part of the AIR Pipeline Partnership Program, AIR works with the African Economic Research Consortium; Union for African Population Studies; African Evaluation Association; University of Dar es Salaam, Tanzania; the University of Nairobi, Kenya; and the Jaramogi Oginga Odinga University of Science & Technology, Bondo, Kenya; connecting graduate students to opportunities to learn and gain practical experience.
Our support includes a range of learning and skill development and professional experiences and networking, all led by experienced social science researchers. We maintain a library of resources from past learning events to ensure ongoing access for graduate students and early career researchers across Africa seeking to develop their skills in research and analysis.
Learning & Skill Development
AIR’s in-person events and virtual learning resources connect advanced master’s and Ph.D. students, early-career researchers, and junior faculty with expert-led opportunities to build skills in social and behavioral science.
Professional Experiences & Networking
We provide opportunities for students and early-career faculty to expand their networks while gaining hands-on experience applying research methods and contributing to AIR projects.
